Description

Decorative postcard adorned with a violet violet, whose petals contain photographs of places in Le Havre (Le Port de Commerce, Les Plages de la Mer, Le Havre, Le Port de la Nouvelle Jetée) and a ship (the Deutschland). A ribbon bears the inscription 'A THOUGHT FROM LE HAVRE'. Reverse: handwritten letter to 'Ladies and Gentlemen', dated 9 August 1913, signed 'Jacquemont' in Paris, with a 10-centime French postmark cancelled.
