View of Saint-Julien Cathedral in Le Mans, with inscriptions indicating the height of the tower (66m) and construction periods of its parts (Roman nave Xth–XIIth centuries, transept XIVth–XVth centuries, pointed-arch choir XIIth century). The choir is partially covered with seals. On the reverse, a French postage stamp of 40 centimes, partially canceled, and mention of the publisher: 'Imp.-Phot. A. Dobezeu, 6 rue Auvray, Le Mans'.
