Black and white view of the Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard, with its three levels of stone arches, surrounded by vegetation. The reverse indicates it is 269 m long and 48 m high, built on order of Agrippa to bring water from the Uzès spring to Nîmes. Publisher: Éditions d'Art, Paris, no. B. 3207.
