Description

Panoramic view of snow-capped mountains with the peaks of Charmoz and Grépon in the foreground, where three mountaineers are sitting on a rock. The back has a handwritten letter dated July 20, 1918, addressed to 'chez Huard', mentioning a stay in Chamonix and transportation difficulties. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the top right.
