Description

View of the Tate Gallery in London, neoclassical building with colonnades and statue on the pediment. The reverse indicates it is located on Grosvenor Road, near Vauxhall Bridge, managed by the Trustees of the National Gallery, and that its collection of modern paintings was presented by Sir Henry Tate. It was inaugurated in 1897 and expanded in 1899.
