Description

Black and white portrait of the Dauphin Louis, son of Louis XV, dressed in a military uniform with a falcon feather. Printed text at the bottom indicates his parents: Marie-Josèphe de Saxe and Clotilde d'Artois, as well as his birthplace (Versailles) and lifespan (1729–1765). The reverse is blank, with some stains and folds visible.
