View of the Lourdes cave with a statue of the Virgin Mary nestled in the rock, surrounded by numerous sticks and religious objects hung around. A panel at the bottom left bears the inscription 'ALLEZ BOIRE A LA FONTAINE ET VOUS Y LAVER' and the date '25 FÉVRIER 1850'. On the back, the address is directed to 'Mme M. M. Robbe, La grande Maison, Cornièlles-en-Paris', with a stamp and a postmark from 'CHATEAU-FORTI' dated 26 VII 26.
