View of the Republic Monument in Lyon, Place Carnot, dated 1887, with a central statue and sculptures at the base, surrounded by a basin and palm trees. On the back, handwritten correspondence addressed to Josephine Buby in Longues-Lan, with a postmark from Lyon Station (12-16-1917) and a postage stamp.
