The surrounding buildings display signs such as 'Photography Joguet', 'Pharmacie Universelle', and 'Thiery & Sigraile'. The reverse features a handwritten letter to Madame Mailkot in Pontcharra, with a 10-centime postmark and a Lyon postmark from August 21, 1915.
