View of the Episcopal Palace in Mâcon, of classical style, surrounded by bare trees. Printed text indicates its construction between 1618 and 1631 by bishops Gaspard and Louis Dinet, followed by its expansion and restoration in 1866. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Francézon in Marseille, 5-centime postmark, cancellation from Charolles dated 17-10-1910.
