View of a medieval stone portal in Mantes-la-Jolie, dated 14th century, with a shuttered window above. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Madame Biltighoffer in Vendômy, with a 15-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Seine-et-Oise dated October 15, 1916.
