Description

View of two antique columns in a park, with inscription indicating that they came from the façade of the Palais des Tuileries (built 1564-1610, burned in 1871, demolished in 1889) and were installed in the park of the Château de Varax by Mr. Bourceret. Reverse: green 15-centime Pasteur stamp, postmark from Charazay (Loire) dated July 14, 1925, handwritten correspondence to Lucien Jourvenaud in Sainte-Émilion.
