Description

Equestrian statue of Bogino, an artist from Paris, on the national monument at Mars-la-Tour, commemorating French soldiers who died for their country in 1870. The base of the monument houses a crypt containing the remains of fallen soldiers. Reverse: correspondence dated October 5, 1914 addressed to Madame Dufourd in Giesy-sur-Loire, with a note of respect for the monument.
