View of the shores of the Corniche in Marseille under a mistral, with waves hitting the rocks and a building overlooking the sea. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Élaine Marte in Saint-Étienne (Loire), dated August 14, 1905, with a French postmark stamped 'Marseille' and a note 'Acheminés au voyage' in the lower left corner.
