Black and white view of the Corniche Promenade in Marseille, with buildings on a hill and boats in the Anse du Prophète. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 8, addressed to 'My dear Germanna', mentioning an accident involving Angèle and memories of the region. The postmark and cancellation are visible at the bottom left.
