View of the commemorative monument of the 'Poilus d'Orient' on the Corniche of Marseille, with statues and a monumental arch overlooking the sea. Printed text at the top: 'To the Young Men of the Army of the East and the Territories of the East'. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Lesicier in Nice, with a blue 'République Française' stamp and a cancellation 'Toulon' from October 1st, 1920.
