Black and white view of the Governor's Palace in Metz, with its imposing architecture and wooded park. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated Saturday, December 4, 1959, sent from Metz to Paris, addressed to 'Mes chers petits maîtres', mentioning Christmas holidays and the city's festival. The postmark is located at the bottom right.
