Description

Detailed view of the interior ruins of a church in Maurupt (Marne), destroyed during the Battle of the Marne from September 6 to 12, 1914. The walls and vaults are severely damaged, with debris and partially collapsed columns. The reverse presents a worn postcard with stains and partially faded inscriptions, without visible stamp or cancellation.
