Description

Postcard showing the Ossuary of Douaumont, a World War I commemorative monument, with an inscription quoting the words of Marshal Pétain. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to a 'dear Jeanne,' expressing feelings of sorrow and remembrance, with a postmark and partial cancellation.
