Description

Equestrian statue of Marshal Foch on a monumental base, located on the terrace of Mont-Cassel Castle, surrounded by pines and a park. Printed text at the top: « My anxiety in 1914 and my gaze extended from Ypres to Nieuport. These were the fires of this line that I considered on the night of the height of Mont Cassel. » On the reverse, handwritten correspondence with an address in Nauvillers (Ariège) and a partially visible postage stamp.
