Description

View of Avenue du Château in Montfermeil, showing a large multi-storey building with chimneys, lined with trees and crossed by a paved road where two cyclists are riding. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated July 5, 1915, addressed to a 'little Jeanne,' describing the landscape and the castle as a charming and picturesque place. The postmark is canceled in Montfermeil.
