Lively view of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, with the Palais de la Jetée in the background, under a clear sky. Walkers in period attire are strolling along the quay, near a palm tree. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated April 18, 1920, addressed to 'Machico maman', mentioning a new arrival in Rome and a family in Paris.
