View of the Fontaine Canal in Nîmes, bordered by trees and a stone wall, with a small dam with water. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Lise Privan in Marseille, an inscription 'bonjour ma mie' and a French postage stamp from 1907 with partial cancellation visible.
