View of the Gard Bridge, the iconic Roman aqueduct of Nîmes, with its three levels of stone arches. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated Ornans, 18-2-34, addressed to Miss Vincent in Paris, accompanied by a 10-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation.
