Description

Interior of the Palace of Gompiègne with two large tapestries depicting the tragedy of Jason and Médée, framed by sculpted decorations. A chandelier and ornate armchairs are placed in front of the tapestries. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Bellenfer, 34 Rue Hotel de Ville, Compiègne, with a postmark and a postmark stamp from Compiègne dated August 21, 1908.
