Description

Richly decorated interior of the Council Chamber of the Palace of Justice in Carpentras, with a coffered ceiling, walls adorned with frescoes and gilded panels, and a large central table. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Maison Universelle' and notes that the postcard is reproduced after a work by Bishop Ingoumbert (1735–1757).
