Description

View of the Pantheon in Paris, built by Soufflot, completed in 1764, dedicated to Sainte-Geneviève, then converted into a Temple of Glory in 1806 and finally abandoned in 1885. In the background, the Monument to the Great Men with the tombs of Marat, Rousseau, Voltaire, Sadi Carnot and Gambetta. Reverse: green 10-centime stamp, postmark from Paris dated 3 May 1930, handwritten address to Madame Mme. M. Patapie in Aveyron.
