Black and white view of Place de la Concorde in Paris, showing the central fountain with its water jets and the Luxor Obelisk in the background, under a cloudy sky. On the reverse, a postcard dated September 5, 1942, sent from Paris to Bonnemoy, with a 60-centime stamp and a handwritten inscription 'Best regards from Paris, Christiane'.
