Description

Exterior view of the Porte Saint-Jacques in Parthenay (Deux-Sèvres), with its stone bridge and brick towers. The reverse has handwritten English text: 'Good Night! My Dear Friend, You have very beautiful flowers and very florid. I love you much. Veron'. The address is to Madame Derantier in Corbigny, with two green stamps and a cancellation from Nîmes dated 25 May 1923.
