View of the Porte-St-Jacques and the bridge over the Thouet in Parthenay, with an inscription 'Reproduction interdite'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 10 September 1914, addressed to Madame Gildébran in Paris, with a postmark from Parthenay dated 10-9-1914 and a note 'Service Militaire'.
