View of the medieval bridge over the Thonnet in Parthenay, with its imposing watchtower and arches reflected in the water. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated May 13, 1915, sent to Madame Audébrand in Piegut, with a note about sending a postcard from the sender's homeland.
