Description

View of the Temple of the Madeleine in Paris, with inscription indicating its construction began in 1764 under Louis XV, transformed into a Roman temple in 1806 and returned to worship in 1842. The pediment depicts the Last Judgment. On the reverse, the publisher is L'Abeille Printing Press, 54 rue de Bondy, Paris, with a postmark and partially visible cancellation.
