Description

Young cook in chef's uniform, eyes closed and hand over face, shows a humorous reaction to the smell of onions he is peeling. On the counter, onions, potatoes, and vegetables are arranged. The back has a handwritten address to Monsieur Édouard Desenne in Charenton, with a green 1906 postmark canceled in Sainte-Émilion.
