Description

Postcard showing the former Hôtel-Dieu of Provins, former palace of the countesses of Blois and Champagne, built in 1160 by Henri le Libéral. The printed text describes its monumental dimensions: 134 beds, 32 meters long, vault 42 meters long and 2 meters thick. On the reverse, the inscription 'Collection Georges Tissier' and a watermark 'CPAdeCollection' can be found.
