Description

Black and white view of the Gate of Jouy in Provins, dated to the 12th century, with stone walls and a central path. On the reverse, handwritten text addresses the card to 'Mme Gallocher' in Fontainebleau, with a postmark from 'SEINE-ET-LOIRE' dated 22-9-28. Two 5c stamps 'République Française' are affixed at the top right.
