View of the Rempart d'Aligre in Provins, with a tree-lined avenue and a central basin. Printed text at the bottom: 'Mauria, bookseller, 44 Rue Hugues-le-Grand, Provins'. Reverse: handwritten message dated 18 September 1920, addressed to Madame Amédéaïn in La Varenne Saint-Hilaire (Seine), with a postmark and a Provins cancellation.
