Description

View of the Tower of Caesar in Provins, dated around 1900, with inscription describing its use as a detention site and its role in defense in 1452. The belfry has two bays with bells, the largest, 'Guilleumette', weighs approximately 3,000 kilograms. Reverse: postcard from the Burgundy collection, published by Château Thierry, with writing space and postage stamp area.
