Engraved illustration depicting the call of the condemned to the guillotine, with a soldier reading a paper in front of distressed people. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Madame Marie Thollon in Lyon, a blue 50 centime postmark canceled, and the note 'Déposé.' at the bottom of the front.
