Description

Colorized aerial view of the Rhine river flowing through a green canyon, with the villages of St. Goarshausen, St. Goar and the ruins of Rheinfels. Several barges are visible on the river. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 1914 addressed to 'Dear Denis', with a cancellation of 'St. Goar' and a postage stamp from the 'Compagnie des chemins de fer de l'Est'.
