View of the Romanesque church of Ruffec, dated to the 12th century, with its Gothic portal and cross-shaped spire. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence dated April 13, 1936, sent to Madame J. Jacquemin at Grand Rue, Haute-Rhin, with two 20-centime stamps.
