Description

View of the ruins of Sommeilles after the battles of 1914-15, with a man on horseback on a dusty road in the foreground and rubble everywhere. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to M. Dumesseoir in Blois, with a stamp and cancellation from Luiret (Cher) of 31 March 1916.
