View of the Saint-Raphaël shore with a house on stilts and a man on a balcony, accompanied by printed text: 'Oustalet du Cotelan in spring 1866. Maître Gounod composed Roméo et Juliette.' The reverse has a handwritten address in Lyon, a 5-centime postage stamp, and a postmark from Saint-Raphaël dated 6/12/15.
