Description

Panoramic view of the Roman amphitheatre of Saintes, integrated into a natural valley with steps and circulation corridors. Printed text on the reverse describes its ingenious layout and construction date in the 1st century. Postcard sent to Madame M. Tillaux in Verneuil-le-Fer, dated September 5, 1937, with a 3-franc French postage stamp and a cancellation from Concourre.
