Description

View of the City Hall Square in Sfax, with the main building and a characteristic tower, surrounded by palm trees. The back features a handwritten letter dated December 29, 1929, sent from Sfax to Algiers, addressed to 'Chérie petite Alice', expressing wishes for happiness in the year 1930 and mentioning a 'sweet little mother' in Clercy. The stamp and postmark are visible at the bottom right.
