View of King René's Castle in Tarascon, with its reflection in the water, and a church to the right. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated June 18, 1942, sent from Vignon to Avignon, addressed to Madame and Monsieur Granjier in Camargue, with three stamps (20 francs and 20 centimes) and a postmark.
