Description

View of the Tower of the Telegraph in Dreux, an old grey tower dating from 1224, destroyed during the siege of Dreux in 1593. Printed text on the front indicates its construction under Charles X and its origin under Robert III. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Mme Dumont in Aulnays, green 35-centime stamps and a postmark of 'NAYISBOIS' (Eure-et-Loir).
