Description

View of the façade of Saint-Gatien Cathedral in Tours, with its two Gothic towers. The printed text indicates that the cathedral was begun in 1170 and completed in 1547, with heights of 69 meters for the southern tower and 70 meters for the northern tower. The back has handwritten text dated August 10, 1928, addressed to Mr. J. Lapierre in Courbevoie (Seine), with a 10 and 50 centime French postmark and a Tours postmark.
