Description

View of Tours showing the Museum of Fine Arts (former archbishop's palace) on the left, the palace added by R. de Fleury around 1756, and the Saint-Gatien Cathedral with its southern transept and towers dating from the 12th to 16th centuries, built on the remains of Gallo-Roman fortifications. The reverse bears the inscription '371' at the bottom right.
