View of a devastated village between Metz and Verdun, with a large bare tree and ruined buildings, dated 1914-15. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence dated May 15, 1915, addressed to Charles Mousselet in Saint-Martin-de-Cran (Rhône), with a stamp and a postmark from Treschamps.
