View of the House of the Prevôt in Valenciennes, a medieval building from the 13th century with tiled roof and stone arcades. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated 1945 addressed to Mrs. Rodriguez in Paris, accompanied by two French 5-centime postmarks canceled in Valenciennes.
